Genetically attracted to gloss

Humans like glitter because it reminds us of water under sunlight [Meert, Pandelaere, & Patrick, 2014, p. 196].
Beyond aesthetics, there’s an evolutionary framework that proposes that the draw towards sparkle stems from an innate preference for water as a resource.

I print my analog compositions onto cotton rag with the richest museum quality inks. The blacks are deep like a portal. Each deluxe print is hand-embellish with iridescent water colors, Swarovski crystals, and glimmering mixed mediums that makes them mesmerizing as they catch the light.
